Job summary

CCSI International SA (Pty) Ltd invites applications for the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) to provide strategic technical leadership and oversee ICT infrastructure and engineering operations in South Africa.

The CTO will drive innovative technology solutions, manage technical teams, suppliers and budgets, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity and local regulations. A bachelor’s degree and 8–10 years of ICT leadership are required, with Mandarin being a key requirement.

Qualifications

• :- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT/CS/Engineering/Telecommunications.
• - 8–10+ years ICT experience with senior leadership or infrastructure management.
• - Expertise in enterprise networking, data centre technologies, cloud infrastructure and systems integration.
• - Strong knowledge of network architecture, routing/switching, cybersecurity and infrastructure design.
• - Experience managing ICT projects, technical teams and external service providers.
• - Certifications in networking, cloud, cybersecurity are an advantage.
• - Mandarin is a key requirement.

• Develop and implement the company’s ICT strategy, technical roadmap and infrastructure plans.
• Lead design, deployment and maintenance of enterprise network infrastructure, data centres, cloud platforms and telecommunications systems.
• Oversee network architecture and IT infrastructure projects.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
• Manage technical teams, project delivery, system performance and service reliability.
• Ensure compliance with ICT standards, cybersecurity requirements and SA legislation.
• Manage technical suppliers, contractors, budgets and project deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance to management and oversee resolution of complex infrastructure issues.
• Develop technical documentation, operational procedures and performance reports.

• Demonstrated expertise in enterprise networking, data centre technologies, cloud infrastructure and systems integration.
• Strong knowledge of network architecture, routing and switching protocols, cybersecurity and infrastructure design.
• Experience managing complex ICT projects, technical teams and external service providers.
• Excellent analytical, communication, leadership and problem-solving skills. Relevant professional certifications in networking, cloud computing, cybersecurity or enterprise infrastructure will be an advantage.
