Job summary

Badger invites a senior risk leader to head the risk function across the group, shaping how risk is understood and managed. You will drive risk governance, challenge assumptions and ensure risk awareness is embedded in strategic decisions.

This role reports to the Managing Executive: Legal, Risk and Compliance and collaborates with executives and risk owners. You will steer ORSA processes, strengthen risk ownership across the business and deliver clear, decision-focused risk reporting to Boards

Qualifications

• Substantial professional experience in risk management.
• Experience in regulated financial-services environment.
• Knowledge of ORSA and prudential governance.
• Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Ability to translate complex information into executive insight.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for risk management across the Badger Group.
• Oversee ORSA coordination and Board-facing risk reporting.
• Monitor risk appetite, indicators and governance standards.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Internal Audit and Finance to strengthen assurance.
