Placements24 is seeking a visionary Head of Operations to lead and shape the operational strategy for its growing business in Soweto. This executive role oversees strategy development, execution, and multi-department oversight to drive efficiency, profitability, and sustainable growth.

You will direct production, supply chain, logistics, and quality assurance, manage the P&L, and mentor senior leaders. The position requires an MBA or related master’s degree and 12+ years of progressive

Qualifications

• MBA or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in operations management, with at least 7 years in an executive leadership role (Director, VP, Head of Operations).
• Demonstrated success in P&L management and driving revenue growth and profitability.
• Expertise in strategic planning and execution in complex organizations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the overarching operational strategy to support company growth and market leadership.
• Direct and manage all operational departments, including production, supply chain, logistics, and quality assurance.
• Oversee the P&L for all operations, ensuring financial targets are consistently met or exceeded.
• Lead and mentor a team of senior managers and operational leaders, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all operational areas, leveraging data and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, environmental, and safety standards.
