Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the organisation's IT and Cybersecurity strategy.
• Lead ICT Operations, Enterprise Applications, Infrastructure, and Cybersecurity functions.
• Oversee enterprise technology projects from planning through implementation.
• Drive strategic technology initiatives and digital transformation programs.
• Manage IT budgets, investments, resource planning, supplier relationships.
• Ensure reliable, secure, cost-effective ICT services across the organisation.

As the IT Director, you will be responsible for leading ICT Operations, Cybersecurity, IT Governance, Enterprise Applications, Infrastructure, and Project Delivery while ensuring secure, reliable, and cost-effective technology services.

This role requires an experienced technology executive who can align IT strategy with organisational goals, oversee large-scale technology projects, manage risk and compliance, and lead multidisciplinary teams across geographically dispersed environments. You will work closely with executive leadership, business stakeholders, service providers, and technical teams to ensure technology becomes a strategic enabler for growth, efficiency, and resilience.

Candidates must have a strong educational background in Computer Science, Information Systems, Informatics, or a related field, as well as significant leadership experience across enterprise technology environments.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Education (Non-Negotiable):
• Bachelor's Degree or similar qualification in Information Systems, Computer Science, Informatics, or a related field
• Certifications:
• Relevant Project Management Certification (e.g. Scrum Master)
• IT Governance/Management Certification advantageous
• Security/Governance Certification advantageous
• Experience:
• Minimum 3 years' experience in IT-related senior management
• 8–10+ years' experience across ICT Operations and/or Enterprise Applications
• Proven experience managing large-scale IT and business technology projects
• Experience managing remote and geographically distributed teams
• Proven experience overseeing cybersecurity and technology risk management initiatives
