Job summary

Globe 24-7, in partnership with an established South African mining contractor, is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead the full finance function from Mpumalanga. You will provide strategic, commercial and operational financial leadership, reporting to the Group CFO and working closely with the senior executive team.

The Role

The Chief Financial Officer will lead the full finance function and provide strategic, commercial and operational financial leadership. The role reports to the Group CFO and works closely with the senior executive team.

The Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, treasury and working-capital management.
• Oversee tax, audit, governance, statutory compliance, financial controls and risk management.
• Drive project and contract financial performance, including costing, profitability and commercial support.
• Manage CAPEX, fleet and equipment-financing requirements in support of mining operations.
• Lead and develop the finance team and provide clear financial insight to executive management.

The Requirements

• Qualified CA(SA).
• Previous experience as a CFO or in an equivalent senior financial leadership role.
• Experience within the contract-mining or mining-services sector.
• Demonstrated oversight of a full finance function.
• Based in, or willing to relocate to, Mpumalanga.
