Job summary

Qualifications

Minimum educational qualification: NQF level 7 within a Built related environment as recognized by SAQA with at least 5 years’ experience at a senior managerial level.
Pre-entry Certificate for the Senior Management Services is a requirement (or register for the course). The SMS course is available at NSG.

Responsibilities

Manage the development and implementation of infrastructure policies, norms, standards, planning frameworks, business cases and strategic plans.
Build and steward strategic relationships with intergovernmental, institutional and external partnerships for coordinated infrastructure planning and delivery.
Monitor project delivery, performance, commissioning and compliance with approved plans, standards and Service Delivery Agreements.
Oversee planning, procurement, commissioning, maintenance, and lifecycle management of medical equipment and health tech.
Lead development of the Chief Directorate’s strategic planning process and business plans.
Provide strategic leadership for facilities management services and related support functions.
