Qualifications

• MSc in Chemistry with Physical Chemistry specialization preferred.
• Experience teaching General Chemistry and Physical Chemistry at undergraduate level.
• Experience supervising Honours and/or Master’s candidates.
• Record of publishing research outputs (articles, patents, and book chapters).
• Experience in computational chemistry.
• Minimum of 1 year teaching experience.
• PhD degree will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Teach General Chemistry and Physical Chemistry at undergraduate level.
• Supervise Honours, Masters, and Doctoral candidates.
• Develop an independent field of chemical research.
• Establish national and international research networks.
• Contribute to academic administration and engagement activities.
