Qualifications

• BEng in Chemical Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in chemical engineering, with at least 5 years in project management roles.
• Proven experience managing capital projects in the chemical or petrochemical industry.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMI).
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all phases of chemical engineering projects, including scope definition, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against these objectives.
• Coordinate with internal departments, external contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Identify and manage project risks, developing mitigation strategies.
• Ensure projects comply with all safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Prepare project status reports and communicate updates to senior management and stakeholders.
