Placements24 seeks a proactive Chemical Production Engineer to bridge laboratory development with full-scale manufacturing in Mahikeng. You will scale processes from pilot plants to production, design equipment for scaled-up operations, and troubleshoot during scale-up and production phases.

You will optimize conditions, ensure safety, and develop SOPs while collaborating with R&D, operations, and safety teams to achieve efficient and compliant production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in process engineering, with a focus on scale-up and production support.
• Demonstrated experience with scale-up calculations, process modeling, and equipment design.
• Knowledge of chemical plant operations, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical information clearly.
