The role requires a degree in Chemical Engineering and proven experience in process development and scale-up, with familiarity in Aspen Plus or HYSYS and strong problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Degree in Chemical Engineering (B.S. or M.S.)
- Experience in process development, scale-up, and optimization
- Strong knowledge of reaction engineering, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics
- Proficiency with process simulation software (Aspen Plus, HYSYS)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize chemical processes for pilot-scale and full-scale production.
- Conduct process simulations and modeling to predict performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions to ensure process efficiency and product quality.
- Collaborate with R&D, operations, and safety teams to ensure successful process implementation.
- Develop process documentation, including P&IDs, operating procedures, and safety protocols.
- Stay current with advancements in chemical engineering technologies and best practices.
