Job summary

Sasol Secunda is seeking a Maintenance Technician to coordinate and direct maintenance and repair services for a specific process within a production line, through control panel management and more advanced troubleshooting.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, participate in risk assessments, uphold safety and housekeeping standards, and drive continuous improvement to keep the plant running safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Matric/N3 with Maths, English and Physical Science.
• NQF Level 2 Chemical Operations with CPO SOR.
• 2+ years of relevant maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides feedback to supervisor on work progress and issues.
• Participates in risk assessments to improve safety and compliance.
• Maintains good housekeeping and follows waste disposal procedures.
• Performs on-the-job coaching and training for learners.
• Demonstrates plant equipment knowledge and troubleshooting ability.
• Participates in toolbox talks and IMS inspections.
