Job summary

Sasol is a global integrated chemicals and energy company seeking a skilled engineer to provide advanced technical and operational support to Tank Farm Operations in Secunda, Mpumalanga. Ideal candidates hold a National Diploma in Chemical Engineering, 3+ years in petrochem; an engineering degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• National Diploma in Chemical Engineering is essential.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering is advantageous.
• BTech in Chemical Engineering is advantageous.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a petrochemical environment.

Responsibilities

• Plant monitoring and report deviations.
• Conduct RCAs and participate on programs to reduce equipment failures.
• Perform material balance and report losses.
• Monitor and report on OWAP, input reason codes.
• Facilitate continuous improvement projects and improve changeover times.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to optimise operations.
