Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in water and wastewater treatment.
• Experience with membrane technologies (RO, UF, MBR) desirable.
• Familiarity with environmental regulations related to water discharge and usage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Hybrid work arrangement with occasional on-site presence in Upington.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize water and wastewater treatment processes.
• Develop strategies for water reclamation and reuse in industrial and municipal applications.
• Conduct treatability studies and pilot-scale testing of water treatment technologies.
• Monitor water quality and ensure compliance with environmental regulations and discharge standards.
