Placements24 is seeking an innovative Chemical Engineer, Research and Development, to join their Vereeniging-based team. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement and focuses on driving new product development and process innovation through rigorous research and experimental work.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong theoretical understanding of chemical engineering principles, coupled with hands-on laboratory experience and the ability to scale promising technologies.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in chemical engineering R&D.
• Hands-on laboratory experimentation and data analysis.
• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, kinetics and transport phenomena.
• Experience with process simulation software is a plus.
