Placements24 is seeking a creative and driven Chemical Engineer to join their R&D and Innovation team in Benoni. You will contribute to developing new chemical products and processes, from lab experiments to pilot-scale testing and tech transfer.

The role requires strong experimental skills, a passion for innovation, and effective collaboration with marketing, manufacturing, and other R&D teams in Gauteng.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in R&D, process development, or product innovation within the chemical industry.
• Strong understanding of fundamental chemical engineering principles and laboratory techniques.
• Proficiency with analytical instrumentation and data analysis software.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities and a creative approach to technical challenges.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities
