Placements24 seeks a diligent Chemical Engineer with a focus on Environmental Compliance to join the Soweto operations team on-site. You will lead compliance programs, perform emissions monitoring and reporting, and liaise with regulators while advancing sustainability across the plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience in environmental compliance or sustainability within the chemical industry.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, permitting, and reporting requirements.
• Experience with environmental management systems (e.g., ISO 14001).
• Proficiency in environmental monitoring techniques and data analysis.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills for on-site work.

• Develop, implement, and maintain environmental compliance programs and management systems.
