Job summary

The Capital Hotels is seeking a Chef De Partie to ensure the smooth running of specific kitchen sections, manage food production and presentation, and handle orders while maintaining the highest professional standards of quality and sanitation.

You will supervise junior staff and work as part of a team or independently as required, bringing hands-on problem solving, excellent communication, and a calm, proactive approach under pressure.

Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent educational level.
• Culinary Arts Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Hands-on problem solving and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Customer service oriented with excellent communication and active listening.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently, with integrity and attention to detail.

Description:

The Chef De Partie is responsible for the efficient running of certain sections in the kitchen. This includes food production, presentation and orders while maintaining the highest professional food quality and sanitation standards. The position is primarily concerned with two main functional activities: supervision and food production.

Minimum Requirements:

• Culinary Arts Diploma or equivalent
