Placements24 in Cape Town is seeking a diligent Chartered Accountant specializing in Financial Reporting to join our established finance team. You will ensure IFRS compliance, prepare complex financial statements, and support strategic planning.

The role requires a CA(SA) with at least four years in financial accounting, strong IFRS knowledge, SAP experience, and excellent analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA(SA) or equivalent.
• At least 4 years in financial accounting and reporting.
• In-depth IFRS knowledge and SA accounting practices.
• Experience with SAP and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, management reports, and regulatory filings.
• Ensure adherence to IFRS and local statutory requirements for all financial disclosures.
• Manage the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Spearhead the implementation and maintenance of robust internal financial controls.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.
• Provide financial insights and support to senior management for strategic decision-making.
