Qualifications

• 6+ years FMCG & Supply Chain Management experience in the liquor sector.
• Experience developing on-premise channel strategies and activation plans.
• Ability to manage budgets, track KPIs and ROI across campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the on-premise channel strategy aligned with brand and commercial priorities.
• Lead channel segmentation to define outlet types, prioritize accounts, and tailor portfolio and activation tactics.
• Build and implement annual on-premise marketing plans, in collaboration with brand and commercial teams.
• Develop and manage toolkits, POSM, and menu strategies for priority venues and occasions.
• Drive shopper and customer insight generation to inform channel strategy and optimize campaign effectiveness.
• Track competitor activity, outlet performance, and market trends to refine channel tactics.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to deliver best-in-class execution.
• Support Joint Business Planning and tailor-made activation programs with strategic on-premise customers.
• Manage the on-premise marketing budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and strong ROI.
• Define and report on KPIs and performance metrics to measure channel marketing impact.
• Strong knowledge of the South African on-trade landscape and customer dynamics.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive commercial impact.
• Passion for hospitality, culture, nightlife, and premium brands.
