Job summary

Srg Financial Placements is seeking an experienced paraplanner to work with a Financial Adviser in delivering comprehensive financial planning solutions in South Africa. You will analyse client data, prepare plans, compile compliance documentation and support implementation and ongoing reviews.

Requires CFP® designation or active studies, 2–3 years paraplanning experience, and strong FAIS/FSCA knowledge. Afrikaans and English fluency is essential for client communications and documentation.

Qualifications

• CFP® designation OR actively studying towards CFP® – essential.
• Minimum 2–3 years' experience in paraplanning or support role.
• Sound knowledge of investments, retirement, risk/insurance, estate planning, and needs analysis.
• Good understanding of FAIS and FSCA regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse client financial information to support planning.
• Prepare comprehensive financial plans, cash-flow models, and recommendations.
• Compile ROA and compliance documentation per FAIS/FSCA rules.
• Liaise with providers for quotations, illustrations, and policy docs.
• Prepare client review packs and support annual reviews.
• Maintain accurate client data in CRM and ensure documentation accuracy.
