Job summary

Morgan Motor Group in Standerton is looking for a skilled technician to provide technical and diagnostic expertise within the service department. The candidate will be responsible for advising colleagues on best practice methodologies for repairs and improvements in accordance with customer requirements.

The role requires a Motor Mechanic Trade Certification and at least 3 years’ experience, preferably with Nissan vehicles. A valid driver’s license and a clear criminal record are mandatory for this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a technician in a dealership/workshop environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and diagnostic work timeously as instructed.
• Provide advice and support to colleagues on technical matters.
• Ensure diagnostic equipment is used correctly for vehicle examinations.
• Maintain standards for vehicle care and safety while performing functions.
• Return vehicles to the customer after service in a neat and clean condition.
• Complete job cards accurately before handing them to the Service Advisor.
