Job summary

Profile Personnel is seeking a qualified individual for a trade-tested role in vehicle servicing and diagnostics in East London, South Africa. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years post-apprenticeship experience and strong technical skills.

The role involves diagnosing faults, advising on repairs, and ensuring equipment is maintained. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s licence and demonstrate adherence to health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be technically strong with good knowledge of diagnostics.
• Must have valid driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a detailed check of vehicles when they arrive for a service/repairs.
• Advise the Service Advisor of any repairs/parts that may be required.
• Demonstrate an awareness of and an ability to use all diagnostic equipment in the Workshop.
• Diagnose and correct faults.
• Ensure all required tools and equipment is maintained and calibrated.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in the work area and health and safety standards.
• Assist with customer complaints if required.
• Ensure that necessary documentation is attached to job card.
