Job summary

Mototeam (Pty) Ltd in Gauteng is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to diagnose faults, repair electrical and mechanical systems, and assemble vehicle components. The role requires hands-on capability, attention to detail and the ability to work independently or with a workshop team.

You will test circuits, follow wiring diagrams, and install accessories while maintaining high workmanship standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Automotive Technician or similar role.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
• Experience with automotive electrical systems and wiring diagrams.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass checks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle diagnostics and fault finding.
• Identify and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
• Test circuits, components and systems for faults.
• Strip, fit, refit, and assemble vehicle components as needed.
• Install and test vehicle accessories and electrical equipment.
• Supervise junior technicians as required.
• Maintain a safe and clean workshop environment.
• Follow wiring diagrams, job cards and workshop procedures.
• Provide practical technical solutions and quality workmanship.
• Assist with quality checks on completed vehicles.
