Placements24 is seeking a dependable Fleet Driver to manage local distribution routes from Centurion. You will operate a modern fleet, ensuring orders reach clients efficiently and in perfect condition.

The role emphasizes safety, vehicle maintenance, and adherence to schedules to support Gauteng’s logistics network. The position offers a hybrid work model, an attractive salary, and training on safety procedures and route management.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driver’s license and a clear driving record.
• Must possess a Professional Driver’s Permit (PDP).
• Demonstrated knowledge of Centurion/Pretoria road network.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily delivery schedules for a designated route in and around Centurion.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and within the specified timeframes.
• Perform routine vehicle checks including tires, brakes, and fluids, reporting issues.
• Handle goods with care and ensure proper loading and securing of items to prevent damage.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and provide feedback to the logistics coordinator.
• Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers and the public.
