St Cyprian’s School is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Cello Teacher to join our vibrant Music Department from January 2027.
We are looking for a musician and educator who combines excellent technical knowledge with a genuine love of teaching, someone who can inspire students at different stages of their musical journey while creating a warm, encouraging and collaborative learning environment.
The successful candidate will teach cello to students across our Preparatory and High Schools and will play an important role in helping students grow in confidence, musicianship and enjoyment of their instrument.
We are particularly interested in someone who understands that musical excellence does not need to come at the expense of enjoyment. We want our students to be stretched, inspired and well prepared, while still wanting to pick up their cello tomorrow.
St Cyprian’s School is on a journey of Transformation and the successful incumbent will be expected to contribute positively to the outcome of this journey.
St Cyprian’s School is a proud, independent school committed to equity and belonging, embracing and advancing diversity. We have a strong anchor that connects our Anglican tradition, values and heritage and we are a place that welcomes all faiths. It is from this frame that we grow and hone purpose, intellect, character, and agency in our students.
