Job summary

Fidelity Services Group (Worcester Branch) is seeking a competent Cash Centre Supervisor to ensure deposits are processed accurately and to provide a consistent, high-quality counting and verification service.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure, and the willingness to work overtime. Responsibilities include opening/closing the cash centre, balancing money, and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Must have clear criminal record.
• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Computer literate.
• 2 years cash centre experience or similar role an advantage.
• Treasury experience an advantage.
• Able to work under pressure and multitask.
• Must be able to work extra hours when needed.
• Must address and resolve challenges that may arise.

Responsibilities

• Open and close Cash Centre where applicable.
• Ensure SOPs are adhered to.
• Count and verify money.
• Balance and reconcile money.
• Re-count money if differences occur.
• Ensure daily reports and statistics are up to date.
• Ensure documents are complete, neat and filed.
• Balance schedules with physical count.
• Use and sign registers daily.
• Handle incident reports as required.
• Respond to client queries professionally and promptly.
• Maintain top priority on client satisfaction.
• Enforce basic discipline within the Cash Centre.
• Be accountable for Cash Centre if no manager.
