Job summary

Rosebank International invites passionate professionals to join our Career Services Centre as a Career Centre Intern. You will assist the manager with graduate placements and the planning and execution of events that promote student success and employability.

Responsibilities include running email campaigns, sharing job requirements with graduates, matching CVs to job descriptions, scheduling interviews, and preparing graduates for the first day and beyond.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) is required.
• Relevant 3-year Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Human Resources or Related Qualification.

Responsibilities

• Run E-mailer campaigns to communicate opportunities and information.
• Provide graduates with job requirements and an overview of prospective employers.
• Obtain job descriptions and company specifications for entry level positions.
• Match graduate CVs from database to job descriptions and company specs.
• Present candidates for interviews with prospective employers where possible.
• Confirm CVs meet employer expectations and arrange interviews.
• Follow up with graduates to ensure readiness for first day at the office.
• Follow up with graduates after the first day and first week.
• Follow up with employers after the graduate's first day and after 2–4 weeks.
• Update database with graduate details, new position, title and salary.
• Provide feedback on candidate impressions to the department.
• Generate statistics and reports for management.
• Assist department with placements of RC graduates.
• Prepare graduates for possible vacancies.
• Process CVs to meet departmental requirements.
• Write reports on workshops, placements and graduate success for Communications.
• Assist planning and execution of events such as exhibitions, job shadowing, internships, etc.
• Schedule graduates for Work Readiness coaching sessions.
• Arrange logistics for workshops (rooms, equipment, catering).
