Job summary

B-Logic (Pty) Ltd in Cape Town is seeking an IT Systems Engineer (T1) to deliver hands-on technical support to clients, diagnose issues, and log tickets through the lifecycle. You will classify, prioritize, and escalate when needed while keeping stakeholders informed.

The role requires familiarity with Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365 and Azure, basic macOS and Linux, networking basics, and ITIL/COBIT5 practices.

Qualifications

• Matric or NQF equivalent is required.
• MCSA/MCSE certification is advantageous.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure environments preferred.
• Familiarity with ITIL and COBIT5 frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Respond to logged tickets and log tickets if none exist.
• Classify and prioritise tickets accurately.
• Capture time entries accurately and timely.
• Maintain ticket SLA compliance and update stakeholders regularly.
• Provide effective updates and resolutions to clients.
• Handle escalations and participate in Major Incident processes.
• Perform field support and on-site visits where required.
• Document changes in the ITIL knowledge base.
