Placements24 seeks a strategic and driven Business Development Manager to spearhead growth in Cape Town. Lead partnerships, identify untapped opportunities and collaborate with senior leadership to implement expansion strategies in the Western Cape.

You will drive market penetration, develop go-to-market plans and negotiate key contracts, shaping the company’s growth trajectory in a dynamic economic hub.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in business development, sales or related strategic role.
• Experience identifying and capitalizing on new market opportunities in Western Cape.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Experience in conducting market research and developing go-to-market strategies.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field; MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities through market analysis, networking and strategic outreach in the Cape Town region.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, potential clients and industry partners.
• Develop and execute comprehensive business development plans to achieve growth targets.
• Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals, presentations, and pitches to prospective clients.
• Negotiate and finalize contracts and agreements with mutually beneficial terms.
• Monitor industry trends and market changes to identify new growth avenues.
