Placements24 is seeking an experienced Farm Operations Manager for on-site work in Cape Town, Western Cape. You will oversee all day-to-day farming activities, drive efficiency, and ensure sustainability and ethical farming standards across crops and livestock.

The role requires 8+ years in farm management, strong leadership, budgeting acumen, and proficiency with farm management software in a Western Cape context. On-site collaboration with teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Management or related field.
• 8+ years in farm management with large-scale operations.
• Experience with crop production cycles or livestock management in Western Cape.
• Strong financial and budgeting skills for agri contexts.
• Proven leadership and ability to train diverse teams.
• Knowledge of irrigation, pest control and sustainable practices.
• Proficiency with farm management software.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to work on-site in Cape Town.
