Placements24 in Benoni is seeking a University Admissions Counselor to guide prospective students through the admissions process on our campus. You will recruit, advise, and support applicants, helping them understand programs, requirements, and financial aid options.

You will manage a caseload, conduct interviews, and build strong relationships with high school counselors and referral sources, while using CRM systems to track interactions and recruitment activities.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse student populations.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines and tasks.
• Experience in higher education admissions or counseling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit prospective students through school visits, virtual fairs, and information sessions.
• Advise students and their families on academic programs, admission criteria, and campus life.
• Manage a caseload of prospective students, guiding them through the application process from inquiry to enrollment.
• Conduct interviews and evaluate applications to assess candidate suitability.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with high school counselors, community organizations, and other referral sources.
• Utilize CRM systems to track student interactions and manage recruitment activities effectively.
