Key responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operation of the camp and ensure smooth service delivery.
Manage and motivate the camp team, ensuring high standards are consistently maintained.
Welcome and host guests, creating a warm and memorable safari experience.
Coordinate daily activities and assist with guest requirements and special requests.
Conduct staff briefings and ensure the team is well prepared for daily operations.
Monitor service standards across all areas of the camp.
Assist with stock control, ordering and general administration.
Ensure cleanliness, presentation and maintenance standards are upheld.
Handle guest feedback and resolve operational issues professionally.
Work closely with management to maintain the overall standards and reputation of the property.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a Camp Manager, Lodge Manager or similar hospitality management role.
Experience within a luxury safari lodge or camp environment will be advantageous.
Strong guest relations and communication skills.
Proven ability to lead and motivate a small team.
Excellent organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
Hands‑on approach with strong attention to detail.
Professional presentation and a genuine passion for hospitality.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
Must be comfortable working and living in a remote safari environment.
