Zusammenfassung

MPRTC Recruitment is seeking a diligent on-site calibration technician to service weather station instruments and solar monitoring equipment at utility-scale solar PV sites. The role requires practical technical experience and the ability to work outdoors at remote locations.

You will travel frequently, hold a matric with a technical qualification, possess a valid driver’s licence, and demonstrate strong English communication, independence, and attention to detail.

Duties & Responsibilities

Requirements

• Matric with a technical qualification and/or relevant technical experience
• Valid driver's licence
• Own reliable transport
• Good English proficiency
• Comfortable working outdoors and at remote sites
• Willing to travel frequently, including approximately 2 weeks per month
• Able to work independently and away from home
• Strong attention to detail
• Previous experience with data loggers, meteorological equipment, solar sensors or calibration advantageous
• Self-motivated, reliable and eager to learn
