Job summary

Interdot Solutions is looking for a field calibration specialist to perform on-site calibration of weather station instruments at utility-scale solar PV plants. The role involves traveling to remote project sites, often every second week for five days, and preparing calibration reports with client liaison.

The position requires matric with technical qualification, strong English, and the ability to travel and work at remote outdoor sites.

Job description

Perform on-site calibration of weather station instruments at utility-scale solar PV plants. Many sites are in remote areas in South Africa and abroad.

Work with solar and meteorological sensors, data loggers, calibration equipment, calibration hardware and associated software.

Take responsibility for calibration projects, including planning, travel arrangements, on-site execution, documentation and client liaison.

Travel to project sites approximately every second week, typically for five consecutive days at a time.

Prepare and check calibration reports and associated documentation.
