• Degree in Supply Chain or Commercial field.
• 2–3 years buying experience in FMCG or manufacturing.
• Proficient in advanced Excel and MS Office.
• Strong planning, numeracy and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent networking to foster supplier partnerships.

Responsibilities

A reputable manufacturing and FMCG organization committed to operational excellence and innovation is seeking a dedicated Buyer specializing in Packaging and Decoration. This role is pivotal in supporting the company’s growth by ensuring seamless procurement processes and maintaining high-quality standards across production facilities.

Duties:

• Coordinate and expedite decoration requirements for both on-site and off-site production
• Issue daily schedules for raw material needs
• Monitor and update decoration stock levels for customers and sales teams
• Oversee stock movement, including slow-moving and obsolete items
• Manage decoration back-order reports and address quality incidents with suppliers
• Negotiate pricing and maintain strong relationships with decoration suppliers and sales representatives
• Handle artwork changeovers, including updating files and maintaining documentation
• Track stock levels in line with business parameters and advise production teams on necessary adjustments

Requirements:

• A relevant Supply Chain or Commercial Degree
• 2 to 3 years of buying experience within FMCG or manufacturing environments
• Proficiency in advanced Excel and Microsoft Office tools
• Strong planning, numeracy, and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple stakeholder relationships effectively
• Excellent networking skills to foster supplier partnerships
