Job summary

Staff Unlimited Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Buyer specializing in Packaging and Decoration for a reputable manufacturing and FMCG organization. You will support growth by ensuring seamless procurement processes and maintaining high-quality standards across production facilities.

Duties include coordinating decoration requirements for on-site and off-site production, issuing daily material schedules, monitoring stock levels, managing back-orders and quality incidents with suppliers, and

Qualifications

• 2–3 years buying experience in FMCG or manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel and Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong planning, numeracy and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple stakeholder relationships effectively.
• Excellent networking skills to foster supplier partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and expedite decoration requirements for on-site and off-site production.
• Issue daily schedules for raw material needs.
• Monitor and update decoration stock levels for customers and sales teams.
• Oversee stock movement, including slow-moving and obsolete items.
• Manage decoration back-order reports and address quality incidents with suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing and maintain strong relationships with decoration suppliers and sales representatives.
• Handle artwork changeovers, including updating files and maintaining documentation.
• Track stock levels in line with business parameters and advise production teams on necessary adjustments.
