Job summary

Surgo (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Butchery Manager to lead and grow the Butchery department across our Western Cape outlets. You will ensure a fully functioning, profitable department with strong customer service, effective staff management and adherence to merchandising standards.

Responsibilities include cold chain management, pricing, promotions, hygiene, staff supervision and daily administration. Monday to Sunday shifts with rotational hours; market-related salary and EE commitments are noted.

Qualifications

• 2 years retail management experience in the Butchery department.
• Task orientated and diligent in performing duties.
• Able to work with people daily.

Our client is a prominent private company that owns a number of established outlets in the Western Cape. They are expanding and have a need for enthusiastic people to support this growth, which includes a Butchery Manager.

It is the responsibility of the Butchery Manager to create and maintain a fully functioning, profitable Butchery Department.

Promote excellent customer service and full management of all Butchery staff members.
