We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Blockman to join our team in Lanseria, Gauteng. This role involves meat preparation, cutting, packaging, and customer service in a fast-paced butchery environment. Butcher/Blockman Position in Lanseria, Gauteng

Salary: R7,000 - R8,000 per month

Key Responsibilities:

• Cut, trim and prepare various meat products according to required specifications.
• Weigh, portion, package and label meat products accurately.
• Ensure proper display and presentation of meat products.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the butchery area.
• Follow food safety and health regulations at all times.
• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Blockman/Butchery Assistant is advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to operate basic butchery equipment safely.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Meat preparation and cutting skills.
• Food hygiene and safety awareness.

The successful candidate will work in a butchery environment, with potential exposure to refrigerated or chilled areas. The role includes prolonged standing, lifting, and handling meat products.
