What you will be expected to do as a Business Unit Coordinator:

  • Work with the SHEQ Manager to ensure departmental compliance with Health & Safety and Food Safety policies.
  • Control and monitor all raw materials and finished goods entering and leaving the department.
  • Conduct accurate weekly stock takes of raw materials, finished goods, and consumables.
  • Perform material reconciliations and data entry into SAP.
  • Update efficiency schedules daily.
  • Update weekly staffing plans, training plans, and wage schedules.
  • Perform general administrative duties as required by the Production Manager.
  • Maintain the register of NCQR and CFARs for trend and statistic monitoring.
  • Follow up on DRM actions.
  • Submit and follow up on trials and associated ISIR requests.
  • Assist with staff and general queries.

Skills required for this position:

  • Minimum of a National Diploma; a Degree is preferred.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment is advantageous.
  • Advanced computer skills, especially Excel.
  • Excellent administrative skills.
  • SAP knowledge is advantageous.
  • High accuracy levels.
  • Good communication skills.
