Job summary

Merand Corbett & Associates seeks a BPM professional to establish and enhance the organisation's process management framework across functions. You will define standards for mapping, ownership and review, and maintain a central repository of processes, policies and SOPs.

Your role will require leading workshops and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The candidate will document current and future state processes, design end-to-end workflows, and ensure clear ownership and accountability.

Qualifications

• Experience documenting processes across functions.
• Strong capability to perform root cause analysis and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain and continuously improve the BPM framework and methodology.
• Define standards for process mapping, ownership, approval and review.
• Develop and maintain enterprise-level process architecture and hierarchy.
• Ensure clear ownership and accountability for key business processes.
• Establish governance for approval and implementation of process changes.
• Maintain central repository of approved processes, policies and procedures.
• Ensure document and version control.
• Facilitate periodic reviews of critical processes for relevance and effectiveness.
• Lead mapping and documentation of end-to-end processes across functions.
• Document current-state and future-state processes.
• Identify inputs, outputs, hand-offs, systems and controls.
• Develop process maps, workflows, SOPs and supporting docs.
• Ensure consistent, practical and user-friendly documentation.
• Identify handover points between functions and systems.
• Design and approve process change frameworks.
• Maintain up-to-date process documentation after changes.
• Analyse processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks and control weaknesses.
• Facilitate root-cause analysis and standardisation opportunities.
• Lead process improvement workshops and develop practical recommendations.
• Apply continuous improvement methodologies and prioritise initiatives by impact and risk.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation.
• Design improved end-to-end processes aligned with objectives.
• Consider people, process, technology, data and controls in future-state design.
• Simplify processes before automation and reduce manual work.
• Define roles, responsibilities and hand-offs in redesigned processes.
• Ensure redesigned processes are executable and approved by stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business, IT and data teams to enable tech-enabled improvements.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements and validate with stakeholders.
• Review UAT where changes affect processes and update docs accordingly.
• Lead cross-functional improvement initiatives and coordinate outcomes.
