Job summary

Network Recruitment is seeking a talented Business Intelligence Analyst to join a fast-growing fintech team in Stellenbosch. You will translate business needs into technical requirements and work with product, data, and business stakeholders to improve processes around acquisition, credit, onboarding, and integrations.

You will gather requirements, create user stories and specs, analyze current processes, define business rules, and support testing in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Systems, CS, or Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in business analysis, product support, or functional consulting.
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction, analysis and validation.
• Experience in Agile environments with stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a talented and analytical Business Intelligence Analyst to join a dynamic product team. This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys solving complex business challenges, translating business needs into technical requirements, and working closely with stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.

You will collaborate with Product Owners, developers, data teams, and business stakeholders to drive continuous improvement across customer acquisition, credit, collections, onboarding, and system integration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through stakeholder engagement, workshops, interviews, and data analysis.
• Create detailed functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and solution design documentation.
• Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for enhancement and optimization.
• Define and maintain business rules and system configurations.
• Facilitate collaboration between technical and business teams to ensure aligned delivery.
• Support testing activities through test case development and requirements validation.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, and sprint planning.
• Maintain high-quality documentation and knowledge repositories.
• Contribute to the successful delivery of customer-focused and operationally efficient solutions.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
