Required qualifications include Matric/Grade 12, FSCA qualification, RE5, 12 CPD points, and at least 3 years in selling short-term insurance, plus own vehicle and license. The role emphasizes regulatory compliance and ongoing product knowledge to serve clients effectively.

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 is mandatory.
• Full recognized FSCA qualification as per FSCA qualification list.
• RE5 regulatory examination completed.
• 12 CPD points are required for ongoing development.
• Minimum of 3 years experience selling short-term insurance.
• All regulatory exams and accreditation must be up to date.
• Must have own vehicle and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Source sufficient lead-generating opportunities to meet targets.
• Contact clients to conduct a needs analysis and offer professional advice.
• Complete weekly reports reflecting leads, quotes, sales, source of the leads, average premium, total premium, and other pertinent information.
• Keep up to date and informed on product comparisons with opposition products.
• Stay abreast of company's product changes and enhancements.
• Be compliant with all Insurance regulations, professional guidelines, and ethics.
• Maintain knowledge to provide specialist, professional advice in all relevant business areas.
