This is an excellent opportunity for a BUSINESS DATA ANALYST to guide key business decisions and strategy for a premier investment platform business.

The Role

As a Business Data Analyst, you will bridge the gap between data and strategy, ensuring that executive decisions are backed by clear, impactful insights. Your role involves analysing large datasets, identifying key trends, and developing reports and dashboards using SQL, Power BI, and other BI tools. A critical aspect of this position is presenting insights at the Exco level, where you will determine how to structure data for clarity and what insights are most relevant for strategic decision-making. You will collaborate with business teams, IT, and external vendors to align data-driven insights with business objectives, support system analysis to improve processes, and ensure data governance and quality standards are met. Additionally, you will assist in defining test cases, conducting user acceptance testing, and supporting system updates to maintain data reliability. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex data effectively to senior leadership.

The Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Management, Computer Science, Business Management, or a related field.

7+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or systems analysis.

Expertise in financial services, investment platforms, or asset management.

Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and data visualization tools.

Familiarity with IT frameworks (COBIT, ITIL, Agile).

Strong ability to communicate technical insights to business stakeholders.
