Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking an Intermediate Business Analyst to analyze data, develop insights, and support reporting initiatives. The role involves creating validation inventories, coordinating across channels, and building Power BI dashboards for channel inventory data.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, strong SQL/Excel skills, and 3–5 years in BI/analytics or business analysis to drive informed business decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.
• Working knowledge of SQL Server and MS Office Excel.
• 3 years of experience in Business Analysis, Data Modeling and/or Software Development preferred.
• Three to five years of experience in a BI or analytics role.
• 5 years of experience in business analysis required.

• Coordinate and engage channel/product owners across 20 markets to validate channels and capabilities.

About the job Business Analyst - Intermediate

Job purpose

As a Business Analyst, you'll be responsible for analyzing and interpreting data in order to provide actionable insights. You'll use this information to make recommendations that will help the business make more informed decisions. In addition to your day-to-day work, you may also be asked to develop reports or undertake additional tasks as required by the company's strategy.

Requirements:

• Create inventory template to be used for validation i.e. all information required that will be used as a blueprint to validate against all channels. This includes channel and product capabilities
• Define the data elements and data requirements to support the list of information
• Co-ordinate and engage the channel and product owners for each of the channels across 20 markets to validate and confirm the channels and existing capabilities
• Document and integrate to the source data for these channels for future reporting
• Create Power BI dashboards to report on the channel inventory and relevant data fields
