Job summary

Sigma Connected Group is seeking a Business Analyst - Software Delivery in Cape Town to bridge business needs and the Software Engineering team. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you’ll help increase delivery capacity and velocity on ServiceOne, ensuring work is right and released with business value.

You’ll collaborate with stakeholders and developers across discovery to release, shaping solutions and embracing AI-assisted analysis, prototyping and agentic delivery.

Qualifications

• Clear communicator able to translate business needs into requirements.
• Structured thinker who can work with ambiguity and align stakeholders and developers.
• Experience enabling software delivery with AI-assisted analysis and prototyping.

Responsibilities

• Understand goals, pain points and processes from business stakeholders and translate into clear requirements for ServiceOne.
• Write well-structured user stories and acceptance criteria; keep backlog refined for sprints.
• Document current and future-state processes for shared understanding.
• Clarify scope and priorities with stakeholders; manage trade-offs for high-value work.
• Support developers during delivery; resolve ambiguity to meet business needs.
• Provide specifications for AI coding agents and acceptance checks.
• Use AI tools to refine requirements, explore options, and create quick prototypes.
• Plan and support user acceptance testing with stakeholders; capture feedback.
