Qualifications

• Qualified Auto Electrician with a Trade Test Certificate.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working on buses or heavy commercial vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of diagnostic tools and vehicle electrical systems (CAN bus, ECM).
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems on buses and related vehicles.
• Perform fault-finding using diagnostic equipment and software.
• Repair or replace defective wiring, connectors, and electrical components.
• Maintain, install, and test electrical systems including CAN bus/ECM.
• Ensure repairs meet safety standards and complete maintenance records.
