Network Finance seeks a Mechanical Engineer to design and develop bulk materials handling systems for industrial and mining applications. You will collaborate with engineers and project specialists on systems moving thousands of tonnes per hour and engage directly with clients on site.

The role emphasizes practical engineering, robust designs, and delivering systems that perform reliably from concept to commissioning.

Qualifications

• BEng, BSc, or BTech in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years' experience within Bulk Materials Handling, Mining, Minerals Processing, EPCM, or Heavy Industrial Projects.
• Exposure to conveyor systems and associated materials handling equipment.
• Strong technical problem-solving abilities.
• A practical approach to engineering challenges.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A desire to develop into a recognised specialist within the Bulk Materials Handling field.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing bulk materials handling systems for industrial and mining applications.
• Contributing to conveyor, chute, hopper, feeder, transfer point, and storage facility designs.
• Performing engineering calculations and preparing technical specifications.
• Supporting equipment selection and evaluating supplier proposals.
• Participating in project execution from concept design through commissioning.
• Assisting with troubleshooting and optimisation of existing systems.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams.
• Conducting site visits and engaging directly with clients and stakeholders.
