Placements24 client seeks an Advanced Building Systems Installer to join the team in Benoni, Gauteng. You will install and integrate BMS, security, lighting automation, and access control systems, interpreting complex designs and performing initial testing.

The role combines hands-on installation with hybrid work arrangements across Gauteng. Strong electrical, network, and troubleshooting skills are essential for delivering high-quality, safe systems.

Qualifications

• Experience installing building management systems, security systems, or similar installations.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
• Strong knowledge of low-voltage cabling, network basics, and system integration principles.

Responsabilités

• Install and configure BMS, security, fire alarm, and access control systems.
• Read architectural plans and electrical schematics to guide installations.
• Mount control panels, sensors, cameras, and related hardware.
• Run and terminate low-voltage cabling for data networks.
• Perform initial system testing, calibration, and basic programming.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to meet requirements.
• Troubleshoot installation issues and resolve promptly.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate installation records and hand over to site personnel.
