Job summary

SAB seeks an instrumentation professional to optimise and maintain process control systems in our brewery operations. You will install, calibrate, repair, and upgrade process control equipment to safeguard plant availability and product quality.

You will interpret process descriptions, support software changes, and provide expert guidance to shift teams while leveraging Siemens PLCs, RS Batch, and Arcestra expertise.

Qualifications

• Instrumentation minimum N4 technical Qualification preferably N6 or equivalent.
• Trade Tested Instrumentation Artisan with 2 years’ experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, calibrate, repair process control equipment to ensure plant availability and product quality.
• Modify/optimise process control software as per specifications and standards.
• Support the process control software change management process.
• Troubleshoot E&F and Brewing process control systems when required.
• Provide specialist support to shift-based teams during operations.
• Assist as a functional expert in problem solving for operators.
