Job summary

IMA is a creative agency in Cape Town seeking a Designer to translate briefs into compelling visuals across multiple channels. You will develop concepts, craft production-ready artwork, and ensure brand consistency across campaigns.

Collaborating with creative, account, production and other teams, you will drive projects from concept through final delivery while staying on brief and on time. A strong portfolio and proficiency with Adobe CC are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a graphic design role, ideally within a creative agency or brand environment.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating visual design across relevant formats.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative concepts and design assets that respond to client briefs and brand guidelines.
• Create and adapt artwork for digital, print, packaging and retail formats.
• Collaborate with creative, account and production teams to deliver projects end-to-end.
• Prepare production-ready artwork by checking layouts, copy and assets before delivery.
• Present design choices, incorporate feedback, and revise within timelines.
• Manage multiple projects with high attention to detail and stay updated on design trends and tools.
